His wealth of experience includes projects such as building the Calspan Flight Research building, Excelsior Orthopedics, PGA Financial Plaza along with many others, and improving existing spaces such as the Dent Tower and Calspan Business Park. John has built a talented Calspan Development and Construction team who most recently completed a state-of-the-art crash test facility and a bio-medical center named Ortho Rhode Island in Warwick, RI.

Primarily responsible for financing the acquisition of Calspan in 2005, Mr. Yurtchuk remains actively involved in strategic business decision making and corporate finance in his role as an owner and Chairman of Calspan. John founded Matrix Development Corporation in 1990 and has successfully developed, financed, and constructed several million square feet of commercial real estate in Western New York, the New York City metropolitan area, and in Florida.
